【描述】甘肃张掖丹霞地貌位于甘肃省河西走廊中段的张掖市，古为河西四郡之一张掖郡，丹霞是指红色砂砾岩经长期风化剥离和流水侵蚀，形成的孤立的山峰和陡峭的奇岩怪石。这里的丹霞地貌发育于距今约200万年的前侏罗纪至第三纪。
        
         Danxia Landform of Zhangye is located in Zhangye City at the middle section of Hexi Corridor in Gansu, which used to be Zhangye prefecture, one of the four Hexi prefectures. Danxia refers to isolated peeks and peculiar steep rocks formed by red glutenites after weathering and runoff erosion for a long time. Danxia Landform in Zhangye developed from pre-Jurassic Period to the Tertiary period, which are about 2 million years from now.
