【描述】“十一五”期间，我区大力加强环境保护与生态建设，积极推进西藏高原生态安全屏障建设，通过实施天然林保护、退耕还林、拉萨及周边地区造林、自然保护区建设等大批林业重点工程，生态建设步伐明显加快。据统计，目前已完成人工造林125万亩、封山造林444万亩，30多万名农牧民群众从中直接受益。图为拉萨河河谷的一道防护林。
        
         During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, our district vigorously strengthened environmental protection and ecological construction, actively promoted the construction of ecological safety screen on the Tibetan Plateau, and implemented a large number of forestry key projects such as natural forest protection, returning farmland to forests, afforestation in Lhasa and surrounding areas and nature reserve construction. As a result, ecological construction has been accelerated significantly. According to statistics, 1.25 million mu of artificial afforestation and 4.44 million mu of afforestation have been completed, and more than 300,000 farmers and herdsmen have directly benefited from it.
